In today's edition, we feature a tweet discussing CoinTelegraph's fake announcement, as well as a video covering my favorite manga from last year, which has now been adapted into an anime: Frieren.

Cointelegraph mistakenly (or maliciously? idk) reported the approval of the iShares Bitcoin Spot ETF by the SEC. What followed was a brief surge in excitement, with people yelling the good ole "We're so fucking back!" However, more credible sources soon emerged, either contradicting or straight-up denying the information. The result? We got to cosplay Burj Khalifa once more.
This serves as yet another reminder to diligently verify your sources and scrutinize the credibility of the accounts sharing information. There are many untrustworthy actors in this space trying to game the game, don’t fall for their shit.
As Alice_comfy says on Twitter, I wonder what the post-mortem will look like, if they ever do one. I’d not bet the whole house on it, given the lack of professionalism we see in crypto sometimes.

"Sousou no Frieren" also known as "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," stands out as my favorite manga discovery of 2022. Now, the anime adaptation is finally here, and the excellent studio "Madhouse" is at the helm, which speaks volumes about its potential.
Recently, the Anime YouTuber "karu" released a wonderful video that delves into what makes this anime unique and sets it apart from other adventure tales. Without giving away too much (well… considering the title is "Beyond Journey's End"), the story takes place after the grand adventure and the defeat of the great demon king. "Frieren" unfolds as a heartwarming tale about an Elf Mage who journeyed through the land and now seeks to cherish the wonderful memories she shared with her adventurer friends, who have since passed away. There's a strangely comforting atmosphere in both the anime and manga.
Karu does an outstanding job of articulating these aspects far better than I can. I highly recommend watching the video and giving the anime or manga a go!
