After Nibel left Twitter — a significant loss for the platform — Shinobi602 has since become one of the go-to sources for game release recaps.
I've never hidden my love for Nintendo, as well as Japanese games at large. Witnessing their success brings me a lot of joy, for some reason. There's a magic that only Nintendo possesses, setting them apart from other game developers and publishers.
My experience playing Mario Odyssey in 2017 reinforced this belief. It was the first time spending that much time with a 3D Mario game… and that allowed me to experience once more Big N’s unparalleled game design, storytelling, level design, music, and nostalgic mastery (thinking of the first world and New Donk City, for instance).
The trailers, and previews for Super Mario Bros. Wonder have been a pure joy to watch and read. With a Friday release, media and influencers seem unanimous in their praise; boasting an average score of 92 on OpenCritic, the game stands as one of the best in an already packed year (Zelda Tears of Kingdom, Baldur’s Gate 3, Resident Evil 4, Spiderman 2. Sea of Stars, Street Fighter 6, Cyberpunk 2077 return to form, Final Fantasy 16, etc.)

If you are not familiar with the channel “HealthyGamerGG”, Dr. K, a licensed doctor in the US, describes it as follows: “Healthy Gamer is an online community and resource platform for gamers and their families. It does not provide medical services or professional counseling, and it is not a substitute for professional medical care. Our coaches are peer supporters, not professionally trained experts, and they cannot provide medical service. If you or a loved one are experiencing an emergency, please call your nation's emergency telephone number”. With the disclaimer out, let’s get right to it.
In his most recent video, Dr. K delves into a subject many, myself included, struggle with: self-control. He explores the underlying science, reasons we often ignore our inner voices, and strategies to comprehend and effectively apply this knowledge.
The video is engaging enough to provide an initial insight into the challenges of self-control. I strongly recommend watching it in its entirety. Below are the timestamps:
