After months of rumours, the news is finally confirmed: Karmine Corp is joining the LEC.
Kamel "Kameto" Kebir, the co-founder, and Arthur Perticoz, the CEO, made the announcement today during a special stream on Kamel's Twitch channel. They showcased a wonderful and heartfelt video that shared the journey of KCorp and Kameto.
Having acquired the Astralis slot for an undisclosed sum, they now hold the rights and have the power to shape the team's roster. They also confirmed their LFL slot for the secondary team and the re-singing of their young star ADC Caliste until 2026.
I like the humbleness both Kamel and Arthur showcased during the presentation when talking about roster building, budget management, and so on.
Considering KCorp's huge fanbase, their achievements, and the influence they have, the possibilities are bonkers. From my perspective, this partnership is set to be a win-win.
Can't wait for January!

Nintendo two days in a row? That's right, folks.
I've previously highlighted GameMaker’s Tool Kit, and I'll say it again: it's my top game design YouTube channel by a mile.
In his last video, he delves into the masterpiece that is Zelda: Tears of Kingdom and explores how Nintendo built Link's main in-game tool: the “Ultrahand”.
TLDR:
An introduction to Hidemaro Fujibayashi, the designer behind the concept, and the philosophy that drove its creation.
Observations on how the Nintendo/Zelda team took note of YouTube videos where players crafted vehicles/contraptions in BOTW.
Nintendo's goal to make the use pretty straightforward/user-friendly (à-la Minecraft or Lego), while also providing incredible freedom with the Zonai devices and no limits on what/how to build.
Honestly, as a nerd, I can't emphasize enough how awesome this video is.
